Bia Blues Indigo Handmade Bra
Our First one of a kind Collection!
We took a scrap of white soft corduroy, so fine it is almost like velveteen, sewed a few bras and handed them to Jennifer Parry Dodge with the words have fun! Clearly she did and we are smitten with the results.
This piece is hand dyed in Indigo, hand stitched with many shades of blue embroidery floss. Look at the triangles on the back! We are think the results are magic......
Bia measures 15 1/2" from the highest point of the shoulder. Our model is our size 1. The bra because of the tie back will fit comfortably up to a size 4 with an A to C cup.
All our clothes are made responsibly. This bra was cut out of fabric we have had in our studio for 10 years. Jennifer and her talented hands transformed the white cotton bra into what we think is wearable art. It is washable in a lingere bag with gentle soap like 7th Generation or in the sink with dish washing soap. Made to last forever.

Domestic Shipping
Standard shipping is complimentary on all orders in the Continental US. We offer a discounted shipping by weight for orders not in the Continental US.
We ship our packages to you UPS with a signature. If you prefer another carrier option please email us hello@johnandmickie.com. Also contact us if you prefer to have your package sent without a signature. If you chose that we are not responsible for your purchase after it leaves us. Note your name and order number in the email and we will do our best to accommodate.
We offer expedited shipping at check out. Expedited shipping is non-refundable.
A big part of our ethos is we do not make extra clothes. Our orders ship within 21 days. We need that time to make and process the order. You can find out more about our business here.
International Shipping
All international orders ship via DHL Express or USPS. Shipping times vary depending on your location.
We highly encourage customers to pay applicable duties and taxes at check out. These fees are based on the items ordered, your shipment destination and the value of your purchase. They are not included in the shipping cost. Please note that we are not responsible for customs fees and we strongly urge international customers to research your country's policies and fees before purchasing. Duties and taxes are nonrefundable.
Domestic Returns
If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase we will accept the return of unworn, unwashed or defective merchandise. Merchandise must be returned in the same condition it was delivered to you. Worn merchandise cannot be returned unless it is defective.
You have 30 Days to initiate a return or exchange from the date an order was delivered, regardless of where you are in the world.
Contact us at returns@johnandmickie.com to start your return. Note the order number and the reason for the return or exchange.
All returns and exchanges must be sent back within 30 days of receiving the return shipping label. Your payment will be credited within 7 days of receipt of the merchandise.
Domestic Exchanges
An exchange is not guaranteed until you drop off the original order at the shipper and it is scanned by their center. Once the shipper receives the package you will receive an email confirming your exchange is being processed (made). Please note, we will wait to ship out the new exchange until we receive the original item back. This process could take a week to 10 days.
International Returns & Exhanges
International are only eligible for a refund. Returns for a refund to the original payment card will incur a prepaid shipping label fee.
Please note that customs fees and shipping charges from our warehouse to the customer paid for at the time of the order are non-refundable. Duties and taxes are non-refundable
Due to duties and taxes we are unable to honor exchanges for international orders
Since June 2020 5% of every purchase is donated to our LA Food Bank.
Our clothes are made responsibly with locally sourced textiles and every piece cut to order. Which means when we get an order we cut the order. We do not inventory clothing, we inventory fabric. We cut a sample line for our photos. When we are finished with the sample pieces we sell them in our resale marketplace.
